Tatoos, what to get?

I know in terms of academia, business attire requires a lack of tatoos. However, I prefer the arts to academics, making the job description that much more flexible. I was hoping for ideas. (I already made the poor decision of tatooing my last GF's name along my leg O_<) Something that ISNT religious. Please.

If I ever got a tattoo, I would probobly get something memorable and inspiring, like my life's quote/phrase or something like that. Maybe a Celtic/Irish emblem. I didn't quite understand your preference though, can you describe what kind of a tattoo you would like? Maybe this would help, you could find something you like here. Also, I somewhat recommend Chinese writing, it looks cool IMO and you could get a cool word like Strength or Dragon or Fire or something. :D

I have my GF's tatoo I have a friend's name (marine) in Iraq I have a Circle < LMAO on my right shoulder... I guess patterns/names/shapes LULZ.
