Whenever I start my laptop, it's nice and cool and quiet. But when I start MapleStory.exe and play maple, it gets REALLY hot and after about 1~1 1/2 hours It over heats. I usually put an icepack underneath it where the air blows out, and after Im done with it, the icepack is REALLY hot. The air blowing out is also very hot. This has been happening the past i think 3 months. Please help

No the laptop doesnt get wet, I put like a tissue over the icepack to keep it cool and keep it from not getting wet.

1) You can get a laptop cooler, it's pretty nifty. :] 2) Since I'm cheap, I took a small box, and have my laptop half on and half off the box, the fan half off. Don't listen to the people who are saying clean your fan and get a new laptop. Unless you have pressurized air in those cans, you're gonna have the hardest time doing it.

BobRBe sure not to set the laptop down on anything like a fuzzy blanket where it might suck fuzz and dust up into the cooling slots (if it has any). You can try using a vacuum cleaner to suck dust back out of the cooling slots (again, if it has any), but any thorough cleaning should be left to a computer store tech department. The coolers people have mentioned are like "bookrests" that lift your computer up while you're using it and have fans that blow air directly on the bottom of the computer. Here's a page listing quite a few: link
