They will inflate immediately after the event, because then they're unable to be found, but huge inflation won't happen until a bit after.

Im buying as many as I can atm :D. I'll sell them once I get around a 25m~40m profit. I estimate around after maybe a month for it to actually start rising and within.. 4~5 months to be at its peak?

They won't. They dropped at a HIGH rate this year, and literally EVERYONE are going to keep them. People have no reasoning and they just think that because it inflated last time, it will inflate this time too, but it won't go back to more than 30 mil, since there are WAY too many and people aren't going to explode that much. It's the exact same thing like last summer. 2 summers ago, prices inflated in the summer because more people were playing. Then, last year, people thought prices would inflate again so EVERYONE kept stuff and held it til the summer, then nothing inflated at all.

SourDonut, what made them inflate last year was the fact that everyone started exploding them, once the drops stop, and more people explode them and can't get another one by fighting bubblings, also it is by what the people price them for if everyone puts 40m after the event nobody is gonna price under that.

The population is much higher, which is another reason why it won't inflate. There are over 1 thousand people with over 10 shields each, all waiting to sell them after the event for "inflation", and no, i'm not exaggarating. And everyone are gonna try to get rid of them. At first, people will think "oh so awesome, I could sell all of mine for 40mil!" when they have no REASON to even inflate, and they just heard about it on basil. No one will explode all of the shields, and there are more merchants unlike 2 years ago, so people WILL start lowering the price. Let me give you an example - last gach box event. At the first one, prices remained pretty high, since no one would settle for a low price. But here, everyone just wanted to get rid of the items ASAP, and the prices kept going lower and lower until they were just ridiculous :o |
