Why do people ask "ATT WG?"

And more importantly, why did I get defamed + kicked from the party for not replying that question? Why is it everywhere you go, once people see you with a WG they'll come up to you and ask that question? Why are people so curious as to provoking others to get an answer? I'm just thoroughly annoyed at the number of different people who always poses the same question to me again and again.

its annoying, but what can you do. my gear is insane, but i still dont like answering to people who ask those kinds of questions, because you never win either way. if your gear is worse than theirs, they bug you saying their better and try giving you advice, usually lousy advice, i was once told to sell all my steelys(16) and buy 4 ilbis because ilbis are "stronger" as this fail sin put it(he had 6 atk wg, 1 C.ilbi, clean maple claw, and the rest icys, no sauna anything) so ofc i ignored him. And if you reply and your gear is better than the person who asked(which is usually how it goes for me) they end up going on about, o well i got XXXX lvl main with +7 with 30% this and i got this many mesos and blah blah blah. simple solution, regardless of how your gear is, IGNORE them, do not feed the fire. edit* imo, there is no reason to have an insane amount of mesos on you/in your bank, all that means is, your gear is not as good as it could be. Unless ofc your saving for something.

no no its because your asked a lot because you are wearing brown work gloves which are rare and most of the time scroll with high attack and not many people see it so they ask.

Curiosity? o.O I tend to question warriors what att sword they have, but unlike some I don't tend to offer my sword's stats (ie brag) if it's better than theirs, unless they specificially ask. If they have nice gear, I tend to query how much it cost, or if they self-scrolled and file the price information away for future reference, and congratulate them if they scrolled

tons of reasons: to brag and say they're better to see if you're any good at all to see if you just have a bwg on (i'm looking at your avatar, and it has a bwg) for show and not actually for attack and now that i know that you have a bwg, not just a wg, these are the most likely reasons: to see if you're godly to see if you're one of the ppl who just wear the bwg for bragging purposes (aka have a 6 attk bwg, 0 slots, but still wear it cuz it LOOKS pro) to see if they have a better one to see if you're worth partying.

you know what... i honestly ask the same question all the time because i'm just curious. However, even when that's not the case, if I ask someone a question, the one thing that pisses me off more than anything else is when the person i'm asking just straight-up ignores me. It's just a pet peeve of mine i guess... @ MMan222: yes, that is exactly what i do! class specific gloves ftw!
