.71 patch fail.

just downloaded the new patch this afternoon, everything goes fine until the very end and says "Base.wz The patch file is corrupt. Please try again. If the same error occurs, please delete all previous Maplestory game files and re-install the game client from maplestory.nexon.net" Help please? is there a way to possibly get past this error without redownloading maplestory? would someone sending me a base.wz from .71 work?

I re-downloaded it. Afterwards, you have to right-click it and run as admin.

If the same error occurs, please delete all previous Maplestory game files and re-install the game client from maplestory.nexon.net. Just do it, by the time your done waiting for the answer in this thread it's already done installing

u can either re-install maple or you can replace the file (like if your friend plays maple, get him to copy the fie and email it to you) it worked for me :D

Instead of v.71 patch fail.. you should say "I failed DLing v.71" It didn't fail, you did.

As someone said, use PuppyKevin's patchers. I just dl'ed it, patched and I'm fine O_O

It does that for me too. v.71 - stops at (3/3) base.wz. It's prob because you haven't patched it in a long time. Redownload the whole Maplestory Client o-o;

If you still have the installation file on your computer, pick the 'Repair' option. To everyone else, stop accusing everyone that has this problem for wz. editing. Base.wz is not used in any wz.edits. In fact, you can only edit char.wz now. So just stop.
