Do major bosses ALWAYS drop monster book cards?

EDIT: do the monster card always drop on the right-hand side of the spoils? Hey basil! Today, my guild leader, a few of his friends, and I went on a double pap run (2 kills) There was a sader, a buccaneer, a BM, a F/P Mage, and a priest (me) The first kill, the Mage died. (1/1 and stun...) and I ended up looting paps monster card. The second time, however, everyone except us two mages got wiped out by paps second form, and we were forced to duo it.. It took about 10 mins, and another pap card dropped. So, do major bosses like Pap, Zak, etc. ALWAYS drop their card? Or were we lucky? Also, I'm proud of us mages, a pair of 11x mages wearing hp equips taking out the second form while dancing around it with tele..

No, they just have a higher drop rate.

mikey1160 said: "Anyone know if they always drop on the right-hand side or not?" It's quite random. I've seen Zakum, Papulatus, Manon, and Pianus drop in both left and right directions. There is probably a 90% of a card from Zakum, and a 60% from Papulatus.
