Low str Corsair

I have a level 30 Gunslinger with 29 str and a 2 str overall so I can wield my 30 gun. I was wondering where I should cap my str at. I heard that low-str is the best way to go damage-wise. I'd appreciate some suggestions and comments on what to cap my str at, and what equips would be best. I will be getting a Z-helm when I hit level 50. If you want to talk to me in game in Broa you can add my Gunslinger, iSpeedyDonut, and we can talk after the patch. Thanks in advance.

theres really no need to cap it but if you get a deputy star and a zak helm then -20?

what bout a str overall? I'm considering it since with all my other equips i have enough str for a lvl 80 oa which has like 6 str plus whatever i can get from scrolling

My level 168 Corsair friend in my guild capped his base STR at 60. He uses a Concerto, but I don't know if he can use a DFR.

Most of the corsairs I know capped between 76 and 84 strength. They wear a zakum helm and a MoN and scroll everything else for dexterity, or you could be like me and use a top/bottom combo to make your base even lower.

You're 30 str short of using it normally so I'd consider that low str I'm 88 atm and I've got bout 85 str or so with equips

I capped mine at 50str might add it to 5 or 10.

I have 56 base STR, with equips I get 100 str for the lvl 100 gun. No need to get an extra 10 str for the lvl 110 gun I guess

Just keep in mind, the less str you have the more your armor is going to suck. For example if you are wearing wg and a bathroobe to help boost str, you're gonna be taking a lot of damage. I'm lvl 78 with a +17 dex bathrobe, a wg, a maple helm, and some +dex snowshoes. I take a lot of damage which makes hunting "somewhat" difficult. For example, I went to kill the headless horseman today with some buddies and was toasted. I also can't touch an elder wraith without dying (annoying when trying to get to WR). Just some personal thoughts.
