Lets say one is hunting for a maple shield. And that one is not using the 2x drop or 4x. How long it might take to find a maple shield? And which monsters have a higher drop rate of maple shield. Bubbling, cube slime, desert giant, krappy, or firebomb? Thx

I found one at cube slimes in 5 minutes, found the next one in 11 minutes.

Went to cube slimes with 2x drop for 30 min, and i got NOTHING. no scrolls, shield, w/e. all i got were mesos and etc.

all luck... i got 4 in total... one took me 1 hour one took me 3 hours another took me 4 and the last like 2

I say cube slimes yet I never got one. All I got was a claw attack scroll 60% and an above average fish spear.

ull possibly have better chance at cube slimes cuz its less crowded even drop rate for them is all same

I got quite a lot of them... Most of them at bubblings

I wasn't even looking for a shield, I was just questing on my pirate and a bubbling dropped one within 2 minutes of me going into the area. O_o It's all chance.

I got one today (June 16) in like 1 min. then another in under 5 mins i guess i was lucky

Desert Giant for sure. there is one Map that has 3 of those monster spawning every 5 minutes ! I hunted there and i found one in like 25 min .

Hmmm...I wonder why people keep on saying "omg omg it only took me (X) amount of minutes to find one!" It doesnt hurt to be truthful every now and then right? ;) Took me about 2 hours on my first. on reg. drop and on bubblings. And @ TS Its about Luck. I dont think there's such thing as a higher/lower droprate on a specific monster. Lets say... Cube Slimes = 1% chance of drop and then somebody's gonna say Oh nono bubblings are better because they drop it at 2% chance! I dont think thats right. BUT! Lets say the "drop rate" would increase when... It would take me about 2 seconds to kill 5+ Bubblings because theyre scattered. BUT it would only take me 1 second to kill the same amount of cube slimes because theyre so packed together. So for short. Faster Killing = higher "drop rate More mobs = higher "drop rate" Bubblings & Cube slimes = no difference in "Drop Rate"
