Okay. I was reading a thread about the DK population turning into a minority and found out about hp washing. I was wondering if I might need this later on. Basically, it's just using the points you get from leveling up and putting it in to hp correct? I heard some people use resets to take points out of MP. Is it necessary? Or does it just help? At the moment, I'm level 102 with 6.2k HP regularly. 10k HP with Hyper Body. Does HP washing make a huge difference and does it make anything easier? I want to know because I'm planning to get past level 120 with my DK and I want to make sure I don't mess up everything. If I should HP wash and decide to then when should I start? Should I use resets to take out MP like other people do? How much does it take out and how much HP do you get per point put into HP? Is it worth it?

As a warrior, I don't think HP Washing is very necessary.

HP washing isn't necessary unless you want to use Berserk while staying at a viable level of HP. With the new update of the Berserk limit at 50%, washing isn't as necessary as it was back before the update (activation at 30%). So it really depends on how much HP do you want to have while using Berserk. If you are hardcore, getting your HP at a little higher than 200% damage of the highest hitting boss monster would be your goal (assuming you factor in HB). If you only plan to do a cheaper alternative, HP washing to 200% above the highest damage a normal monster can do would be your goal. You choose when to stop, based on both your NX funds and choice of play style in the future. FYI you better start wearing INT items when you level up. 10 INT = 1 MP increase each level. The MP adds up nicely. One thing the above failed to bring up, there is a cap to how low you can lower your max MP. This is why several of us mentioned the idea of increasing your MP gains per level by using INT equips. This cap is based on your current level, it gets higher as you level up. I forgot the exact formula, so you will have to look that up on your own.

145-150 ap resets in hp + levels to get 19k base at my level. mts helps a lot to avoid breaking open the pig.

| The damage reduction given by Achilles isn't displayed on-screen. He takes about 5,000 less than what you can see. NubsGoRawr said: "Don't do it. Waste of money. | Vladzy said: " Here's how it is. HP and MP share the same AP pool. That means, they basically run on the same AP counter, to dumb it down a bit. So the procedure goes, for a DK; 1. Level up. You have 5 AP to use. 2. Place one AP into HP . You'll gain roughly 50-60 HP. You now have one AP invested in HP and MP. 3. Now buy an AP reset. 4. Take a point out of MP . You will lose roughly 5-6 MP. 5. Put that point you resetted back into STR . And that's the general procedure." This. One added point I would make though which might have been made already is that if you wear INT equips when you level, you will get more MP when you level up. This is the only stat that that works with though, so hopefully nobody says well if you wear STR equips you will get more HP, because it DOESN'T work that way. Oh, and almost forgot, you can only reset so many points, so the formula for warriors I believe is (LEVEL x 4) + 156. This gives you the minimum MP you can have for your character. In game, remove any armors that add MP. This is the base MP for your char. Minimum MP - Base MP tells you how much MP you can wash. Then MP Wash divided by 12 (rounded down) gives you the number of MP points that can be washed. Hope I didn't make your head hurt too much! I know it's summer and the last thing you wanna think about is math... ^^ |

Yeah, I was too lazy to mention the INT equips. helena22508 said: "This is the only stat that that works with though, so hopefully nobody says well if you wear STR equips you will get more HP, because it DOESN'T work that way." You would not believe how many people tried to argue this with me some time ago. helena22508 said: "Oh, and almost forgot, you can only reset so many points, so the formula for warriors I believe is (LEVEL x 4) + 156. This gives you the minimum MP you can have for your character." That would be the formula for Spearmen. Fighters have the formula (Level*4)+56. Pages I believe have something similar to Spearmen. One thing I should mention, most Spearman will have MP considerably greater than the minimum formula. For example, I've got a base of 930 or so, with only say, 3-4 levels of using INT equips, whereas my supposed minimum is 676 MP.

Cool, thanks for correcting me on the formula! I wasn't sure if spearman and fighter formulas were different or not. I don't have a warrior at a level to HP wash yet, but I HP wash on my BM so I have SOME knowledge. Normally I don't post outside of bowman threads cuz the most experience I have is with my main, but it's always nice to be able to contribute to threads outside the norm. ^^ Off-topic: On the Basil forums, I believe people will argue about anything and everything, and people seem to love to spread misinformation (i.e., CFCS).
