Hey everyone, I want some refreshment in my maplestory characters, that's why Im selling all my stuff and making a lukless mage. But what's the best mage to make lukless? F/p looks fun cuz of fast training and nice skills... I also got a question about Poison Brace/Mist, isn't it true that if you poison a monster it decreases HP on it till it has 1 HP left? And the higher the Poison Brace/Mist the less time it takes to get the HP to 1? Or am i a complete retard now xD Anyways these are the equips I already have: 12int 1slot Black Bandana 7int 13m.att Skull Earrings 21int Bathrobe 2int 4m.att 7slots Maple Shield 8int 8m.att Purple Adventurer Cape 8int 8m.att 2luk Purple Work Glove 4dex 3int 7slot Yellow Snowshoes Deputy Star 10int 96m.att Maple Wisdom Staff I have a bishop and I dont want to make a lukless bishop f3 Thankies in advance :D ~Stefan

There is no better for god's sake. Just ask yourself, what do you want? Poison & Fire skills, or Ice & Lighting?

The most effect you'll get from being a lukless is with an I/L since magic attk doesnt affect poison dmg, it will only be useful when casting spells like meteor. Yes, it decreases the HP of the monster till 1 and yes the higher the lvl the higher the % of dmg. Btw, damage of mist/brace is based on the percentage of hp of the monster.

If I were you, I would go I/L since you have really nice equips already. I've always seen a f/p mage as the choice for unfunded lukless goers, since poison isn't based off of your total magic.

I believe at maxed lvl, PB/Mist leaves the monster's HP down at 1 or near 1. While poisoned, a monster's HP decreases a set amount every second until the poison runs out or until the HP is at ~1. Generally the higher the skill, the more seconds for the poison to take effect. This is why both PB/PM aren't exceptional training options until raised high enough. The nice equips you have would give your Fire Arrow a huge boost as an FP but wont effect PB/PM since they are based on percentage (although their initial hit will be ) Those nice items will become most crucial when 4th job hits and meteor training come along. Well the scrolling equips part is also a hobby xD I just feel good with good equips, as for jobs, I think i'd like F/p more because they dont use thesame skill over and over again (like bishops and i/l, i dunno for the i/l, excuse me if im wrong xD) I guess im going f/p PB build :D

I would probably go for f/p too,they seem more fun. But still if you wanna try something new,why dont you start a char of another class? like theif,or archers? i recommend both. Anywayz have fun =]

Hehe XGLaZey, I was just asking for advice, what other people would do, i dont want to level my char to god-knows-what-level and find out they suck xD I got a level 46 Hunter and my friends told me w/o HP washing they aren't really worth it, since I dont want to spend loads of NX on washing xD And as of the vids I saw about AMs they are alot different then Bishops :o More solo-ing and not reliable on other people while training to 120 :] As for training, I'm more of a solo-er then a party-er so F/p would fit me F2 Thanks for the advice people. :] PS. shall i continue scrolling my shield or get 1 or 2 more 70%'s and buy a prescrolled when I have the money?

I saw some vids of 13x F/ps and they dont use meteor as much as i/l use blizz ;o Maybe I just watched the wrong vids xD

And seriously, who would like to see the char standing in one place spamming a skill? It's way funner to see Poison Mist :D.
