Lower Ascent vs. Tornado Corridor

I've been training at lower ascent for a few levels, and from what I can tell, it's the best WR training spot. But I've known some people who train at tornado corridor, and the map is much small and easier to get around. Also, from what I can tell, there are much less ksers there. So which should a new DK (grats to me on 70) train at?

People tell me the Corrider has some issue for training..though I don't know what it is. I'd still advise Ascent, cause the map can cram more WRs in =) P.S: grats on dk =D

Levels: 70-80 Possible Training Grounds: * Haunted House: Vanity Room [3]: Hoodoo, Voodoo o Spear Dragon Crusher * Singapore: Mysterious Path 3: Selkie Jr, Slimy %$ o Slash Blast o Polearm Dragon Fury * Crimsonwood Mountain: Lower Ascent Windraiders, Stormbreakers % o Slash Blast o Polearm Dragon Fury * Pirate Party Quest % o Spear Dragon Crusher o Polearm Dragon Fury o Magatia Party Quest % Selkie Jrs drop a lot of steelies. You'll get rich training there. Only bother training at Hoodoos/Voodoos if you went Spear-first. The mobs at Mysterious Path 3 and Lower Ascent are much better to train on for Pa-first Dks. (Only if you went hybrid)

Lower Ascent has a better spawn hands down. Training at Tornado Corridor is decent but it is not as good as Ascent.

Depends on how good your char is. Corridor you get spawned and theres no JQ its like a 2 second walk :P Lower Ascent has more WR but if u fall in the wrong place or die you gotta do the 2nd JQ again.

I personally prefer Lower Ascent. There isn't all that much walking; it's mostly making use of the jump-down function. You can also make use of some lovely Snipe Spots (since you use Fury). The mobs are also quite nice, and you can snipe Stormbreakers for their badges. However, there is a chance of falling (with proper character control, you won't fall very often, if at all, and the 2nd jump quest is by far easier than the first... which isn't saying much). The truly bad part of LA (/pun), is the grand number of bothersome dexless assassins, a few I/L mages, the occasional warrior, bandit, or brawler, a very scarce number of bowmen, TONS of dexless assassins, and oh, did I forget to mention dexless assassins? At Tornado Corridor, the top and bottom mobs are pretty decent, but there's the walking time needed when luring them back and forth. And when I was there, the middle mobs had a whopping total of 2 Windraiders each... There's also the fact that you have to walk farther to get there, and those damned Crimson Guardians can pretty much 2hko you.

The problem with the Corridor is that, it's so freaking far! And there's a major lack of mobs compared to Lower Ascent,the Corridor is more for single target killers like Assassins and such. I went there just last night and checked it out,it's not the place for a Polearm Dragon Knight. Also,congratulations on getting to third job.

Tornado Corridor was new when I left Lower Ascent, but here's my take. Lower Ascent has plenty of amazing mobs and can give lots of exp easily. You're not walking too much except when you go to that platform off the left, mostly jumping down from platform to platform and mobbing. The only problem I saw there as a warrior, is the large amount of people there. Falling isn't a large problem unless it is during 2x, then you'll probably lose the map. You can also prevent this by activating booster as you fall at the right time. I visited Corridor... and to me it seems more like the place all these sins should go to. The mobs aren't large and the room itself isn't very good for a warrior. I found Lower Ascent to be better.

as cookie said, ascent. its also a HUGE pain getting to crimson guardians. im lvl 86 and they do about 3.5k touch. if you atk, thye have a 4.5k slash >.> i advise ascent, less farther for pot refills also.

Note:If you have a Mystic Door mule at the Courtyard past Crimson Guardians,the Corridor isn't that bad. I'm keep my Priest over there so I can get backup/recharge Stars for when I'll train there. Long story short,Lower Ascent=for mobbers,Corridor=for single-target killers. :P

I was there and got decent exp (im still using Slash Blast until my Crusher is decent) i have not tried Lower Acent in awhile. I may try to compare the 2. Then Again maybe i should compare once my crusher is at a decent lv
