As you can tell by the title I probably got hacked. By the time you read this my pic will probably updated on the rankings with my gear completely stripped. I won't go into detail about what happened, I know you don't care. But if there's anyone out there that knows how to get rid of a keylogger (as I suspect it lead to this) please leave suggestions. My rationale for suspecting a key logger: I went to my email and saw there was a pin reset, I never requested one and the email was already read. I don't want your pity, just your help. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. I never gave out any account info WHATSOEVER. Never one time. Apparently, taking my items was not enough.. SUPER EDIT: So I did not want to go into detail about what happened but I will identify some things that occured. -I was playing Maplestory as normal when I suddenly got dced. -After getting dced, I was logged of of my user account on the computer -I then proceeded to log in again to my account and Maplestory, -The same thing occured -The third time I logged in my pin was not working -After a few more logins my pw wasn't functioning. -Later, I came to find my character was no longer on the rankings -A few hours later, a few Basilers and friends discovered I was back on the rankings. -BTW, I tried logging a ticket to Nexon, the system is down. So for everyone that offered to help me out if I moved to your server thanks <3 (Crazydip and IbeJon) I was able to log-in to my account today.. I am lucky enough to have a good friend to help me get back on my feet ^_^ BasilId: ToolFTW IGN:BabiiDrone <3 I still need your advice.. -I reformatted my computer (re-installed my os) -Changed my email password -Changed my pin -Changed my PW Is this sufficient action to avoid being hacked again? Also, I have installed Norton Anti-Virus as opposed to what I had previously (Avast)

Lol this happened to my saders account last week or so ... First do a system restore as far back as you can without losing vital updates, programs etc. If that doesn't work then do a full system virus scan with your antivirus. Also search through windows explorer for keyloggers. (IF they are stupid) Then download antilmalware and anti spyware software if you do not already have one and scan with BOTH of those.

It might not be a keylogger for all you know the person who hacked you knew ur details to ur email ID, but as for the keylogger you gotta have a few suspects before you can take them out,did you by chance download any suspecious files?

@ Above the Birth date I gave to Nexon is not my real birth date. So it wouldn't be possible for someone to know my details.

if u can go into safe mode WITHOUT networking and run a full system scan with your anti spyware, anti malware and anti virus programs, that is if those programs allow you to.

The same thing has consistently occurred to me in the past two weeks. I was hacked just yesterday, I went to my E-Mail and saw an email from Nexon Requesting a Pin Reset, though I was not home yesterday and not logged onto Maple Story. So there was no way I requested it, I don't know how this continuously happens to me, I've changed the password of my email before. They hacked it again, the security question is impossible for them to know it as I do not remember the answer. Though I checked my Alternative Email and see no request of a reset of password which leaves me questioning how are they accessing my stuff so easily. I have three (3) Virus and Spyware scanners, all tell me my computer is safe and out of harm, I have checked my Windows32 files and they all deem safe. I have not downloaded anything on this COMPUTER in recent days for me to be having this issue, though I have another computer which did have a Keylogger, though its in a shop for other issues. I do not know how these people are able to continue to hack me but it has happened every week since June 2nd.

I'm slowly losing my want and wish to play this game, as it is beginning to feel like a job, let alone a fun experience. I log on to sell leech, Gacha, and sell it in my shop. I log in the next day to see it all gone, all the money I spent, all the time I put into this game, all of the loss of sleep I wasted leveling myself. For nothing because this person hacking has deemed no right, I am kind and curtious to almost everyone its like it couldn't have happened to a better person. I keep striving and perceiving but its like when do I thrown in the towel? When do I give up and say I'm done and over with? I keep looking for solutions that in the end won't work, I have contemplated and am more than willing to move on to begin a new account. But the thing is, will they find me again? When am I safe, when can I go out to a dinner with some friends and not be afraid that 'Oh someone might be on my account' its like so annoying I just wanna quit but I feel like I've gone too far to just let it go. I don't know what else I can do, its like this hacker is spiting me out of their own joy.

Alright, before you listen to the genius kids up there, turn off any applications you are using, press start, then run, and type in CMD and press ok. Type in (Without the quotes): netstat -n Post back the IP addresses and ports you see. If there's nothing there, you are not being keylogged.

Sorry about your loss. I would wipe your computer completely, don't save anything on an external Hard Drive since you can't be sure where it's hiding. I'll be on the watch for your bow though. :/
