Why KoC will ruin Maple

Hello everyone, I have heard that the KoC classes are coming to GMS soon and everyone is getting all excited about them. However, me and a few other people feel that these classes are utter bull. Here I will list reasons for why they will ruin maple, in my controlled rant. 1. Overpowered Until End-Game The KoC are much stronger than their counterparts from levels 0-120. This has a lot of implications. What is the point of making a normal character when you could make a way more powerful version? Seems the only real point is to gt some unique 4th job skills, like SE,though you will still be weaker until about level 140. For people who have tried hard on their character for a long time and don't want to quit, but who doubt they will get to 140, what is the use in continuing? 2. Party Questing Right now Party Questing is a fun, alternate way to get more exp. Since the current classes are decently balanced, most people can get in and experience them. However, when KoC arrive, there is a very high risk of not being let in, in favour of the much more powerful KoC. This could kill PQing for some characters who are a little weak at certain ctages, like Gunslingers in CPQ, and greatly reduce demand on characters like Warriors and Assasins until mid-4th job. 3. Prices I have heard many people saying that they will make a Windbreaker or a SoulMaster. Since these classes, along with the other KoC except the wizard, can only use one wepaon type, prices on bows, swords, claws, and knuckles, along with their relative scrolls, should rise significantly. Likewise, demand on the other weapons, like Guns, XBows, and Axes, will fall, lowering prices even further for these weapons. Is it fair that Bow prices should rise crazily because people want to make an overpowered version of a bowman, while XBow and Gun scroll prices lower, just because nexon didn't include their weapon types? 4. Kill-Stealing With the new influx of powerful, low-leveled characters, lower-leveled training areas will be flooded (relatively). The KoC will be able to KS any normal character, if given equal equips and funding. KSing and overcrowdedness should rise, lowring the exp which a normal class can gain. 5. Leeching Leeching rates should also rise substantially, as many people will want to get a lvl 120 KoC character to help improve their mains. Also, since Flame Wizards get an Ulimate-type skill at a much lower level than a regular mage, they will be able to provide cheaper leech to others requesting it. 6. The Need to Make a KoC This is probably the worst idea ever though of up by nexon. As your KoC levels up, the parent character gets crazy amounts of attack, avoid, and accuracy, greatly increasing their power (12 att from a lvl 120 Cygnus). When everyone creates these lvl 120 KoC, many by leeching as already mentioned, their mains' power will rise. This means that anybody who hasn't made a KoC character will be at a disadvantage. So even those, like me, who do not wish to create one, wil

No offense, but who cares what you think? We're getting them whether you like it or not. Nobody really cares about your opinion because in the end, everyone's going to make one.

1. The point of making a normal character would be to power up your KoC even further, and if you want something good in the long run, the Adventurers would better than KoC. Also, is there a KoC version of Paladin, Marksman, Dark Knight, Corsair, Shadower, Bishop, and I/L Arch? Nope. You'd want to make an adventurer for those classes and their skills. 2. No. There is a Dexless Sin (someone else) and a Gunslinger (me) in CPQ. The Sin is stronger, but does that mean I won't get chosen if there are tons of other parties recruiting? Nope. 3. That's the way the economy is. It's completely fair if scrolls become higher for your class. You just need to deal with it. The Assassin scrolls are expensive, but does that stop people from making them? Nope. 4. I doubt this. It's just like Pirates. All the lower training maps were full, but is it like that right now? Hell no. The class will die down eventually, and EVERY class can get KS'd. 5. Again, that's just the economy. You have to deal with it. As a side note, Flame Mages don't get Meteor till lv110, and if leeching is too expensive, why the hell not train? 6. Who's forcing you to make a KoC? You don't need to be as strong as everyone else. It's a game for gods sake. It's like MoNs: "Oh, I have to get a MoN so I can be as strong as everyone else, if I don't buy one I will be at a disadvantage." Is anyone forcing you to buy one? Nobody said you need to be as strong as everyone else.

BIG DEAL. they're max level is 120. Phail. Added: even if the "flame wizard" is level 120, they will have crappy hp/mp and cannot boss almost anything in maple. |

1. This one is true. But that means you'll have to work harder. Suck it up. 2. Actually, My level 48 bowman is still accepted as a class in PQ's. A leader picked a level 48 bowman over a level 45 windbreaker, and he himself is a koC. 3. Prices will always go up and down but that's the basics of the Maplestory economy. Deal with it. 4. This is somewhat true. There will be more ksing especially with the sprites. But they are just like any other kser. Ks them back. 5. This is a big one. I agree on this problem but just remember, leeching WILL always exist. 6. You don't have to have the need to make one. This is just personal preference because what I'm hearing from you, you are just another one of them damage h@ors that all they care about is damage. I tried this class out for fun and that's all I seek in it.
