What assumption about Maple ticks you off?

For me, it's the assumption all my friend's who tried maple make - They believe that just because the game starts you off fighting Mushrooms, Snails, Slimes, and all that, it's automatically a stupid game that has you fighting a Cat for the strongest boss or something. They don't seem to realize that the monsters get stronger and don't look like things IRL all the time.

It's funny because when my cousins introduced me to maple, I assumed that it was a stupid game because I saw walking stumps and jumping mushrooms. My cousins have already quit and I'm still addicted after 3 years.

"MapleStory sucks." Plain and simple. I don't mind people not liking the game, but just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it completely sucks.

Mostly for me, I started playing it and I thought it was kind of weird. Now, I've been playing it for almost a year.

That it's a kids game and all the monsters are cute little critters. That would obviously be people's first impression because they start you off killing snails and mushrooms that cry when you hit them. They should put a monster zoo on maple island so that beginners can see the bigger and more badass monsters that high levelers train on. And if a someone is watching you play, don't go to ludi. It's probably the most childish and gayest looking place in the whole game, and they'll probably laugh at you.
