Noob question about Pierce

So level 30 Pierce does 850% damage. Is that 850% to the first monster or the last monster of the mob? thanks

I believe it is 850% to the first monster, and the multiplier for last is like...1.2 or 1.3 added on or something...

When fully charged, maxed Pierce deals 850% (plus Critical if it happens) on the first monster. As it passes through each monster, the damage increases by a factor of 1.2

I think it was lowered to 1 second charge, still have to charge it.

Thanks a lot. Also, what happens if you don't charge it fully? Like if you just tap it?

Hmm...if for every monster it goes up by 1.2... Then on the 6th monster it's 850%*1.2*1.2*1.2*1.2*1.2=2115.072+100% crit = 2215.072? Or is it only on the last-->850%*1.2=1020+crit = 1120?

I'm pretty sure it is 2215% cause spirit said "As it passes through each monster, the damage increases by a factor of 1.2" Each monster :O I'm not sure how to work out critical though, I didn't know we added 100%... So that's pretty beast. btw has anyone here gone a SE + Pierce build? my guild alliance leader is pressuring me to get SE first but I also want Pierce quickly :/

They want you to go SE first so they can use you as an "SE Mule" so just do whatever you think you'll enjoy.

Critical is multiplied by the 1.2 also, meaning the last hit has potential to do 2,712% damage.
