i know my facts the chicken comes from the egg meaning the egg came first but the chicken lays the egg meaning the chicken comes first but with out the egg there would be no chicken but with out the chicken there would be no egg meaning the egg came first but the chicken lays eggs but no chicken means no eggs which mean chicken came first but no egg means no chicken but no chicken means no egg so i think the egg came first

Well, of course it matters! I mean like, why hasn't anyone found an answer for this possibly century-old question? Mysteries are meant to be solved, you know.

I'd say the egg . Cos the particular egg was an orphan and had no parents , so.. hen's not viable .

Easy. The chicken. If the egg came first it wouldn't survive because the chicken isn't heating the egg.

The egg. Who says it was a chicken egg?
ShiroNoYami 06/11/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
The egg from a predecessor of the chicken that hatches into the modern-day chicken.

The Backstreet Boys.

The chicken came first, but going backwards through the repeatitive process of egg>chicken>egg (etc), the farther back you go, the less recognizable the chicken is. Basically the chicken was not always a chicken, and it eventually evolved into a prehistoric chicken, and started laying eggs. So the chicken came first, just not in the form you're used to seeing today.
