Some girls are shy. But that shouldn't be a problem with an online chatting room... were people you know irl there? She might've been scared that a friend might poke fun at her. I knew a girl like that, she was afraid to admit her boyfriend because her friends teased her so badly, but eventually she got over it.

uhm its some stupid forum for some music she likes, and i sent her this video and on the chat room she said to like 25 people she doesnt know or will never meet most likely that "my friend sent he this random video" and then the link.
