Funding a mage?

I have 70Mil to fund a mage, i am making it a fire mage. Any suggestions, should i make it lukless?

NO, im sorry to say that lukless fire poison mages arent very great..... Try and make a lukless cleric or I/L or make a regular F/P if thats what you want..

Go hibrid f/p mage if you have poison brace you can train at MDT at lvl 55 and then u will get explosion (AWESOME) and then meteor shower which depends on int

I like how people make these biased statements and then don't support them with facts or details at all. It's almost like seeing someone say "Eating carrots isn't good for you. Try eating carbs instead." I'm low luck, haven't even started upgrading my equips (because I'm waiting for level 70), and I still do even damage (higher than even) with a reg luck level 70 I/L mage on neutral monsters.

This made my laugh*, LUKless will be better than regular LUK in all three branches of the magician class. Please tell me how LUKless would be bad as an F/P, I'd love to know how my character sucks now for being LUKless and F/P at the same time. On topic; I started this character with a maximum of 10mill(which got me to like... 5x before I needed more meso, which I could make myself then), you don't started 'needing' to put real funding into it until 50+. Just get some INT earrings, 5/10 or something will last you a long time. *first of the day

Meh, as already said, go with lukless and not what the first poster said. It is true that F/p will be using poison for a very long time but when 4th job comes you will be glad you went lukless. From lvl 1-30, you don't spend much on pots. Lvl 30-51, Cpq requires no pots. Lvl 51-71, Lmpq is suppose to be good mesos. Lvl 71-78(?), you should be using PB which is basically unaffected by equips. Lvl 78-120, Mist is basically unaffected by equips. Lvl 120 is when you need to upgrade for Meteor.

I knew a lukless f/p mage and he was awesome! He did great damage and at lvl 58 or 60 could do over 5k damage on DTs. He was also very well funded (had +100 int from his equips). Still, go lukless F/P =D
