Hog or Flash Jump?

Hey I am going to hit lvl 70 soon and was debating whether or not to get a hog. I am not extremly funded but i have decent equips. I was planning on getting avenger to 5, then getting flash jump to 1 then maxing out sp because fj just looks fun, would this be absolutely horrible because if not I dont think I would buy a hog. If it is still not a good idea, should I buy the hog and just max SP first or spend the money on stars? i currently have 1 ilbi, 4 steely and 3 tobi and am planning on using a 45 atk claw. i have 16m roughly to spend, what should I do with it?

Buy the Stars.A Hermit is the worst job to buy a Hog for, as you already get FJ

Sell the ilbi and tobis and get more steelys, or sell the ilbi and steelys and get more tobis. And dont get the hog only 10% more speed than haste and lv 1 fj > hog also doesnt really matter if you get fj first or sp first because your gonna be at raiders for awhile. By the time your done with raiders your gonna have max sp and 1 fj anyways.

Yeah... Hermits never need hogs unless they're extremely funded and bored. Hogs are only for Bowmans, Pirates, and Warriors. Mages use Tele / Hermits use Haste/FJ!

ok ill stay with FJ and not buy the hog should i stay with the 45atk scarab(how much is it worth, it's green)? or sell it and get a better one(how much is a 48/19 worth)?

when you're nearing 4th job, get a hog and lvl it up and bleh so that you can get the silver mane

I saved a bunch of money on my hog insurance by switching to teleport/flash jump :D.

Do not get hog. Get more stars as an alternative. Mentioned by someone else, sell ilbi and get steelies. I would suggest 2steelies and the rest on tobis (with the ilbi money). You got a good claw already so I think you are okay for now.
