Edit : I don't care if typing isn't perfect, I've already said that. Please read this more carefully. However, I do not wish for the mods to become "Grammar Nazis" just so that illegible typing has a punishment. Seeing people type in such a way where it can not be easily read has vexed me myriad times. I'm sure you'll find a couple mistakes in this or another post, but humans make mistakes. However, when people put no effort whatsoever into typing their comment, it gets very annoying. Look at these posts : Someone in the F/P Section said: "o yea , i dunt get the poin of the ele w/s. I head it gives you a ele bonus but its doesent say so in hiddenstreet" Someone in the Pirate Section said: "yea they stronger then sins but sins much funner and better mobilaty if u want bosser and have fun make sin though i had a gunner and it was realy fun too XD Post 2. of theirs : LMAO'ed at ur comment so bad first of all hermits being funner is my opions so shut up about that and u must be on crack if u think gunners move faster and jump higher and stuff then sins also i clearly said gunners are stronger so y u listing the bosses u killed when noone cares about wat u can kill and how long it takes wat a show off just cc dude and learn to READ ! Post 3... : u said mobilaty so i thought u meant gunenrs are fasters then sins and i dont care about my spelling and i seemed like u were showing off since u listed all those bosses and quoted me shouldve said @ts w/e ur still nibz EDIT: learn to drive befor u coment on my spelling atleast i can see where im going XD" This is really irritating, and I think the mods (Who do a good job, by the way) need to enforce at least decent typing. The examples above are eyesores, and a team of Safe Crackers isn't available to all people.

Maybe that person isn't typing properly because English is their second language.

Mods? Good job? Give me a break. And I agree, but not in such drastic way, make a rule for improper grammar, but not for anyone who doesn't capitalize words or type with Apostrophes, but someone which's posts are simply illegible. Maybe that person isn't typing properly because English is their second language.

Yeah we should totally get in trouble because we do not speak perfect ENGLISH maybe we should be allowed to speak in are First or second languages and then when you guys butcher them trying to use translators we can get you banned.

stefan812 said: "Maybe that person isn't typing properly because English is their second language." I'm sure they should know that 'you' is not the same as 'u, or that 'what' is not the same as 'wat'. If it was their second language, I would expect grammatical errors not terrible typing.

stefan812 said: "Maybe that person isn't typing properly because English is their second language." I've considered this, but if you read post 3 by person #2, you will see them state they don't care about spelling. I mean, some people do have English as their second language, but my friend who has it as his 3rd types almost better than I do. The people who don't could at least put some more effort into their comment, wouldn't you agree? Or the people who use primarily a different main language could use Google Translator.

If you can read the comments, then I suppose it's good enough. If moderators were to suspend everyone that uses improper grammar, I promise you EVERYONE will be suspended eventually.

I'd like a rule to be place on grammatical mistakes, so half of basil can quit.

It makes it easier for me to skim their posts, I have no problem with that. If it bothers you that much then skip it.

How would we know if you are not in a English speaking country and see one on TV you see commercials and many English speaking people typing that way or speaking that way.

I guess it can be somewhat bothersome, although I've gotten use to it from my time at basil.
