How am I so unlucky

Over the past 12 golden maple leafs I have used, i've gotten 100 maple leafs. Each time. Anyone else been extremely freaking unlucky? This is really pissing me off.

I've spent 8 days ~ 625% (6 and a quarter levels) looking for maple storm finger. I found one in 5 min of searching and it ended up being the worst possible. i spent the rest of the time searching for it. There is a silver linning however; I made a few million or so off npcing and merching drops.
