I still play Maple, I love Maple, I've BEEN playing Maple since Global's beta (on-and-off), and I still maintain the belief that regardless of its marketing for thirteen year-olds, it's still one of the best MMOs on the web. That being said, this is not a thread based primarily to flame Maple, I am just trying to point out some things that I wish would change, and am curious to see how many other people noticed them. 5 = Least annoying. 1 = Most annoying. 5.) Quitting sales. If you're quitting Maple, FOR REAL, do you really need the mesos? And if you're NOT quitting Maple, should it really be called a quitting sale? // EDIT // I don't care if they call it a quitting sale because they're quitting that character. They're still not quitting. It's a matter of semantics, and it bugs the hell outta me. // END EDIT // 4.) Maple relationships. Meeting a partner, so to say, and treating them in a purely professional matter insomuch as to marry on Maple strictly for APQ is understandable. What I can't stand is when people not only advertise that they're looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend on Maple (some of whom, by the way, have admitted to me that they are already engaged in a REAL relationship), but take it to the next level and spend ALL their time together and actually stoop so low as to use the word "love." It makes me sick. 3.) Glitchers Hacking used to be a big problem, anyone who played Global 3-4 years ago knows that. But thankfully, Wizet and Nexon programmers finally made triumphs so great that I honestly haven't seen a hacker in a great while. The only ones I see really are fly hackers or wanna-be packet editors who can't even do it right. But did it end there? No. When Maple finally became too hard to hack for it to be considered worthwhile, everyone looked for glitches. OPQ glitch, smuggling PQ items, even finding stupid glitches like how to ride your hog inside the Maple Tree map. WHY? Why can't people just play the game like it's made to be played? Every glitcher I've asked says one of two things: "Noob." or, occasionally, "Because the game isn't fun the normal way." To which all I can think to say is.... Then you are clearly playing the wrong game for you. Find a new one. Don't ruin it for us. 2.) Leechers Okay this one's simple. Why would you play a game, then pay someone else to do it for you? Especially because most leechers use smegas to advertise their buying. Which means they've likely spent money on NX. Which means they're not only playing a game that they're not really playing, but they're PAYING for a free game they're not even playing. // MAJOUR EDIT // Okay. So a lot of people have made a reply saying I was right about this pet-peeve, then they go on to say how annoying it is that people are such a higher level than them with less work.
