| at the moment, this thread is a work in progress... i'm thinking of putting down age sections too... not really sure. suggestions, anyone? ^^ Note: I doubt anyone will truly take into consideration what this note means, but when you like a person, make sure you know the reasons that you like him/her, and what you plan to accomplish by attempting to date them. Situation #1: Asking a Girl Out If you're friends with the girl: If you know the girl in general, but not well: If you don't know anything about the girl, or have just met/seen her: Situation #2: Asking a Guy Out If you're friends with the guy: If you know the guyl in general, but not well: If you don't know anything about the guy, or have just met/seen him: Situation #3: Asking Me (twist) Out: (because everyone is different, and some people, like me, are just weird. ^^) If you're a friend: The weird thing about me is that, if you're a good friend, you have about the same chance that a random stranger does, because I really, really hate messing up friendships with relationships, and the thing is... I've yet to find a relationship that's ended well, or not ended at all. However, if you're just a friend, I'll probably feel really guilty and say yes (because I fail at saying no... something that I've been trying to work on).. You should just be yourself, though. If I know you in general: Start a conversation! I love getting to know people better... People are always so interesting! I'm really random and weird, though, so, if you can deal with that, and not have to put effort into dealing with me, then, that's pretty amazing. If I don't know you: Come talk to me! :] If you're nice/friendly/funny, I'll probably agree to hang out/a date/domokun shopping spree... It doesn't hurt if you're wearing a domo-kun shirt, or if you even know what domo-kun is! :] If you hate domo-kun, though, I won't date you, because I ♥ domo! (Plus, if you have serious hatred for an imaginary character, then, you're a bit creepy.) My ideas of a fun date: Coffee, wandering around the streets in winter, snow sports :] I'm pretty weird, that way.. I love coffee, though, especially at small cafs. ^^ It's really location based, though... skiing, plus going to this really famous chocolate place in new york (called naked chocolate, no comments, please. XD) would be my idea of a dream date. or! walking on the beach (clich, i know), with haagen dazs coffee ice cream. XD Situation #4: Asking Someone who's "taken" Out: Don't do it. Date Ideas: These are some generic-but-trying-to-be-not-clich date ideas... You should try to focus a date around something both you and the person like, especially for a first date. For a first date, if you do something like a dinner + movie, it's safe, but not really memorable, and picking something that you like will help you be more comfortable/natural/yourself around your date, which is ALWAYS a good thing. Anyways, here are ideas if you can't think of something: (of course, these apply to certain |
