I ate cookies that were a week expired.. they were still delicious. Try eating a few and see if anything happens.

If it's still sealed in the bag I doubt it's expired. Go for it.

I found a bag of 6 month of cheetos in the bottom of my pantry the other day... I couldn't tell they were passed their date, and they were fine. Go ahead and eat them

Dude, my school sells expired chips. That's how poor my school is. I had one, and it tasted fine. But I'm glad I'm out of elementary school next year. ^_^

Yes, if eaten too far past the expiration date. They are made with an additive called "monosodium glutamate", which breaks down over time into a mild carcinogen. If ingested, it is usually harmless, although there have been cases where flu-like symptoms have been reported.
