Okay this urks me, really... So, a bunch of the English classes in my school (not mine though) had their students make posters and billboards about a country of choice and they would put them up in the gym and the social studies and English classes not participating would come to look at them and the students would have to explain their country. 3 groups did Japan. The only thing any of them talked about was anime and manga -.- Although one of them briefly mentioned chopsticks. One of the groups were two asian kids. Another were two white girls. The last one was this one nerdy white kid. :l Jeez... You know, there's more to Japan than anime and manga... So maybe manga has been around for a long while (centuries even), but they didn't do the history of it; just manga created within the last 10 years and posted pictures of it and crap (and only English dubs too) Ugh... Edit: Oh, and the two asian kids mentioned noodles, 'cause you know, Japanese people only eat noodles.

Manga has been around for a long time. But Japan isn't all about Manga and Animes, it's about the culture and religion.

I love anime/Manga and i did a brochure about japan there was NOTHING about anime on it o_o Cept i drew L on the cover
