get +7 meba and keep it till 40, u shuld really try to fund ur sin wiht ur mage there. u cant do much if ur sin is hella poor(sorry to say)

I was in the same situation as you. A poor mage and an unfunded sin. This is what you want to do. Don't get your meba right away. PQ a little bit and get some money, then go buy prescrolled. I bought mine at level 28 and it lasted me until 40. Also, as for stars. When you see a good deal, go ahead and buy it. Wait until after you buy your claw, however. I ended up with 7 kumbis at level 40 just by going into FM and haggling for them. Now it should be easier since kumbi prices seem to have dropped. Good luck with your sin.

shouldn't be TOO hard, get meba when you have enough money to buy it and have some left over for pots, then you can use it till 40 or (do what i did) use it till kandayo if you can afford a good one, that is, if you get luky with the lvl 40 glove scroll quests then you can buy a decent kandayo, and wait out the 3 lvls with a meba, that's what i did, and i was unfunded =P sins just take time and patience, and a hella lot of money >.>

Buy that scrolled Meba, but don't buy the stars yet. Instead, when you got them Avarice at level 40, sell the Meba again and buy some more Kumbis from that. You can buy 1 or 2 Mokbis(maybe 60k? very cheap) for better PQ experiences though, if you want. That is probably equal to the money you save by SKIPPING the level 25 clothing, as it is highly unnecessary. Also, clean Meba's go away for quite a bit, so after you bought the scrolled one, sell the clean one.

i planned on skippin the lvl 25 clothing as it looks like crap (i was thinkin of getting the bottoms for increased luck)
