Dexless Needs Dex Equips?

So I was having an argument yesterday with some guy. He had a 10 dex bathrobe, and wearing steel titans or whatever. I was saying he should wear a luck bathrobe because it adds more damage, and thats the whole point of being dexless, while LOW dex people need dex equips to use higher level claws later on. He was saying that due to the lack of dex, more dex equips would be needed. Who was right and why?

my friend does the same thing and he has way too much money (he got from some random guy who was quitting) and he spent soo much on dex stuff for his dexless... dexless= no dex right?

dexless uses luk items low dex uses some dex items both can make pretty similar damage

but why should dexless have any dex equips at all when they are sacraficing all the dmg? My friend is just because he is stupid so i cant go off that...

A DEXless doesn't need any DEX equips to wear, as all of their claws has no DEX requirement. They will not have ACC problems either, since they enough of it from LUK already. You should be able to hit any monster that you are supposed to be training on. If you are missing, then you are not supposed to be there. Not only that, our class main attack is base off of only LUK and W.ATT. Sure, it may rest your range a bit, but it will do nothing to your main attack. I'm guessing the guy is just a low leveler? If he's using DEX equips to wear the Steel Titan, then it's ok if it's a temporary solution until he get his Maple Claw. But once he get to that point, it best for him to resell it. Edit: The only reason I can think of why a DEXless would wear DEX equips is to make up for the difference in ATT at higher levels.

Once a dexless sin gets to the Maple item stage (or the bracer later), they no longer need Dex, and should opt to get luk equips. In low levels (or poor levels :P), Dex equips are ok, to let him put on better equips. I'd still say you're right though - it'd be better damage to be dexless and get luk equips. I mean, unless he has really nice dex stuff (by the sound of 10 dex robe, I'm guessing he doesn't), he can't even equip a worthwhile claw. For now, dexing up to get gold (not a typo. Steel titans are unacceptable. :P) titans is acceptable (IMO) Of course, since their damage formula is pure Luk, more luk = more damage. You should win the argument.

nah i convinced my friend to cap dex at 40 and wear 24 dex sauna and other dex stuff so he can use a rab ^.^

At the beginnig I'd use dex equips to equip higher level items for more damage and ditch the dex items when it's time for maple items
