what is so special about timeless weapons? do they have some kind of advantage boost? or just more weapon attack?

They can level with you. Like the more you use them they get experience and a new ability. Just goggle it if your really curious.

By the looks of the MSEA screenshots, they're called "reverse" weapons.

Reverse weapons are made by using stones that are NOT obtained from pink bean, so timeless monsters drop them, Reverse weapons level 4 times, while Timeless Weapons level 6 times. You either have a one way choice, go Reverse or Timeless. Reverse is easier right now since no one has really killed Pink Bean multiple times, needless to say they have not killed it once legitly.

Odd. Very odd. The weird thing is, they aren't even that great... and since I'm converting, I wanted to do it to get a better dagger at fourth job... the luk dagger starts out with 103atk, and if you're very lucky, then you can get it to 113atk, and that's at level 6. Only then can you scroll it godly and cap your dex again, but from the levels before that I don't think it would be worth it to scroll it.
