Gunslinger-STR or DEX equips

with a brawler u can use dex equips to go low dex and the reason for that, i was told, was because dex equips are easier to get. for the slinger dex is the main stat, so isnt it just as beneficial to get high dex equips as it is to get high str equips? ty for info

i would get dex equips, str equips are more expensive. The only time i would consider getting STR equips is when you rabout to get something that will make up for the difference, ie getting equips to get +5 str, then taking them off later when you get zhelm which is +15 str, making up for your 5 and allowing you to use next lv worth of equips.

i have 40 base str o_o 16 str zhelm 16 str cape 3 str shoes (ill scroll for dex later) 2 str 10 att rwg 5 str dep star (ill upgrade to mon later) 22 str (lvl 80) overall. that gives me 110 str enough for a dragon revolver ;) later ill fund up to get a timeless gun later when i get a good MW at around 140, ill upgrade my overall str and get a str pac/fs/scg if i really lack str, ill chaos my zhelm(lol!)

Something doesn't add up there because my calculator tells me that you have 104 str after equips. 108 would be the most with mw20.
