Hi, I am currently a level 39 brawler with, 15str raggedy cape, 11atk 3str red wg, and 16str bathrobe, and awaiting to wear my maple storm finger...and I am somewhat confused, and wondering if anyone could give me tips on good brawler control and how to keep your mobs together and where you want them. Any help from anyone with experience would be great! Thank you for your time. FoulLove ~Windia~

If you kill all the monsters infront of you, you can go cork>ssk>backspin turn around ssk>cork>ssk>cork>ssk>cork>I like pie>cork>ssk

1st to 3rd job was basically given to you. 4th job, Backspin> Barrage> DS/ or repeat attacks 1 and 2

in my opinion playing a brawler is all about your preference, most people just do the cork>ssk>cork repeat but i do what i feel like at the time, (for example if there is a bunch of monsters spread out i would cork-> back spin-> cork-> spam ss; but if there are aready mobs of like 2 and 3 i would cork-> ss-> cork-> ss)

I hate how backspin still allows you to get damaged. with a fast weap I can pull in 2 ssks after a cork and repeat

Yeah as said above, if you are knocked back and want to jump right back in and hammer those monsters with mobbing attacks just use Corkscrew or Backspin to rush back up and deal some damage and continue to hammer them with Somersault Kick.

You really won't get anything from other people, you have to try things out for yourself and get a feel for it.

DrawinNubs said: " something is wrong here.." yeah I have to hide stuff like that in seemingly useful information, because I keep getting suspended for saying stuff like that (i.e. Mudkipz ftw)

Learn how to tap corkscrew into your routine, not necessary for low levels but extremely beneficially when you get into windraiders and upwards from there, including bossing. At windraiders I collect mobs together using CS/BSB then I SSK into them, tap (don't charge) CS, turn around and SSK again. This allows me to take minimal damage when I was training at windraiders, also because of the little damage I take it allowed me to go through potless periods using MP recovery/ Energy drain for heal. Also when soloing HH, I do CS + DU.. I get hit sometimes because of lack of speed getting back into DU range after CS but most of the time it works out.. When I push bosses into a corner, I CS into them FF then jump backwards while using DU then CS again. There are some monsters that don't move when they use magic attacks when you CS into them at the right time, lthat makes things easier since you always stay into attack range from them and benefit most from CS invincibility time. Windraiders are an example of this, which is why you can collect them in one group and only have to turn around to attack again. Another combo I know on stunnable monsters is BSB + DU + BSB.. When you reach the end CS into them FF or SSK then BSB... repeat Here are a few Bucca's with good control link link link link link

The only thing that I think someone might not find out on their own, but they probably would, is that if you are facing right, hitting monsters to your left with bsb, if you do a jump bsb, you will not move. This is useful if you have a monster pinned to the left wall or end of plat, so you won't take damage after using it.
