Small rant: Fizards. Why are people STILL making them?

If you are planning to make a F/P mage don't do this; For hell's sake, DONT make the F/P wizard a fizard. I've been reading posts where people complain that F/P is "soo hard to lvl" in 2nd job. The truth is it's easy IF and only IF you're a Pizard/Hybrid. If you decide not to listen to me and make a fizard, have fun with it but have fun most likely quitting before you even hit 3rd job. After lvl 50, training will be ok but not nearly as good as a pizard/hybrid's. More importantly, fizard training from mid 6x to 75 is complete hell, to repeat, complete hell comparing to the breeze Pizards/hybrids get with the underrated PB skill. For those who would disagree, which would seem better: 15-20% per hour at lvl 67 as a fizard or 40-50% per hour at lvl 67 as a hybrid/pizard? Now on to 3rd job: DON'T max explosion first FPS. Don't ask me why but rather ask a few of my explosion-first friends who are still at lvl 8x while I'm already in 4th job with mist-first (and I play on weekends only). edit: I'm targeting people who are mainly concerned with lvling their F/P the fastest. edit2: If you still think you'd enjoy fizards more than pizards/hybrids, go ahead. I can't tell you what to do. Fun can't be measured but how fast training is can. I am simply going by the supposed facts for lvling percentages per hour which I've measured myself and seen in various threads.

Great post. I've been telling my F/P friends to go hybrid for the easiest training.

I went fizard and I was fine because of LMPQ and MegPQ after People are just getting lazier and lazier so it's all about fast leveling or leeching your way up They just want to get to fourth, waste NX, then quit happily

I'm pure Fizard. And lmpq 100% breaks down the barrier between PB training and FA training. : ) But, I am going to max Myst ASAP when I hit 70.

I think you shouldn't whine about people who want to train with Fire Arrow. Does it matter to you if you see a Fizard? Would you care if someone doesn't like Poison Brace? If the answer is yes to both those questions, you have a serious problem.

The numbers speak for themselves however. The fun variant of any skill is all a matter of opinion and I can't blame anyone if they enjoy being a fizard. I am merely pointing out this: for those with the goal of getting to 3rd/4th jobs and training with speed (i.e. probably most of us in accordance with having overall fun), PB is significantly a lot faster than FA at the lvls I mentioned above. @starwolf: read above and there is no need to resort to flaming.

Does it matter if you see a Corsair that doesn't like Battleship Cannon? Yes, it shouldn't matter. However when they start saying that Corsairs suck because they waste like 121982739812798 bullets and do crap damage, and therefore "suck", and stereotypes pop out everywhere, it will start bugging you.
