Hello there. I wanna start of with a story about how this game is full of idiots and heartless savages and turns others to be like them. The first char I ever made got hacked by some moron because I actually thought he was going to give me a panda (lol). He told me he would after I give him 10k, (this was at lvl 15 btw which is right when I got my new lvl 15 gear :D) then he told me to give him more and more and more. Soon enough, I had given him almost 150k (almost all my money). Because I pretty much lost it all, the guy finally says "ok, just gimme your info and I'll give you it". I was bummed out and knew I wasn't going to get it. But because of the slim chance he would give me the panda, I just gave it right to him. I waited like 1 minute and checked to see my account. And sure enough, pin was changed. What type of low life lvl 11 mage goes around hacking level 15 warriors? This game alters the minds of anyone who plays it. Not to be offensive or anything, but MOST hackers/scammers in online games tend to be foreigners base on what I've seen. I'm sorry but it's the truth. A lot of the people in the Middle east and Asia are some of the most selfish people in the world. They don't care for feelings and their human nature is pretty much stripped away from them. Because being "cool" is much better than making people around you happy. Well to continue my story, I quit the account and told my brother I forgot the pin to the account because I was ashamed of how easily I got scammed. But I continued to play, and started by stealing little bits of mesos at a time from my cousin's account (which he used to bot to gain mesos). Then soon enough, when pin skip and crack started coming out, I took advantage of it and hacked a couple people. If I could see those people again, I would apologize now, but that was a year ago and most of them quit maple because of people who acted like me. Of course when ZenX and all that was out, I hacked, I botted, I scammed, and I hacked accounts. But then I found less of a need. Until the day some "famous" idiot by the name of lDevilsheart or something scammed me for nx. I trusted him, because of his famous 21 atk bwg screeny from a while back. But no, no one can be trusted. And of course, soon after that, one of my first friends in Khaini had his 100 ranger hacked by another friend of ours who we'd known since we were 4x on our original LPQ chars. Shortly after, both of them quit MS after the one who hacked the other got to gloat about his brand new 17 str top and drop the ranger's 17 dex zakum helm. The friend who got hacked told me this, "he was trying to hurt me, not just steal mesos, but hurt my feelings." After I saw that, I got enraged. I hacked a friend of another friend because he called me a noob. I was able to open up his email, invade his privacy, and steal his info. I was able to find the answers to his security questions and I ruined the friendship between him and my friend. Because he blamed her for getting

Try separating the words into paragraphs. Nobody's gonna read this wall of text.

I didn't read this, but I highly doubt my comment would be any different if I did. The only way a game can change your morals is if you talk to some very convincing people on said game, or your morals were very weak to begin with.

I stopped at Ignorant TS said: " I wanna start of with a story about how this game is full of idiots and heartless savages and turns others to be like them. " Why? Because THE WHOLE WORLD is full of idiots and heartless savages in the first place, and it just so happens that these people decide to play MS, just like the rest of the community. End of discussion. Also, while skimming through, I noticed you stereotyped the hell out of people. Tsk tsk.

There are no morals anymore, sadly. What do you expect? Just like a lot of people on basill. Nothing but anger and hate now days. But scamming someone on a game isn't about morals. Maybe you should wake up to the realities of life, and rant about those people. And posting it on basil isn't going to change anything. It should, but it won't. All you're going to get is a bunch of flaming and insults. No one on basil has any morals either, or they wouldn't post if they didn't have something decent to say. You've gotta learn to ignore it, hun.

Actually most, teenage or mature rated games are morally incorrect. Such incidents are when the main character(s) is rewarded for killing people. Here is a paragraph from an essay on how our world is becoming a dytstopia similiar to Fahrenheit 451. The many different kinds of media have been used to promote products and organizations, but at the same time they are promoting violence, especially among children. The wall screen TVs of Fahrenheit 451 featured a show with, Three White Cartoon Clowns [chopping] off each others limbs to the accompaniment of immense incoming tides of laughter (96). Obviously, the act of bodily mutilation is humorous in Ray Bradburys dystopia. A survey presented data that 78% of unaccompanied children ages 13 to 16 were able to buy M rated games. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) says M rated games are for people ages 17 and older and material in this category contain intense violence, blood and gore, and/or sexual content or nudity. Over half of the video games that contain violence actually reward players for these actions. Children may get the wrong message that violence is morally righteous, and thus would see no problem in using their aggression from video games in real life. Furthermore, 9% of the murders in the U.S. in year 2000 were performed by people under 18 which totals to about 1561 minors. Obviously, violence is an act which should not be encouraged, but with the media today, we cannot stop it. Eventually, the spread of violence will be too big to stop and we will fall into a world full of aggression.
