Pretend you're in charge of Maple Story. You're making the profits. You want MOAR MONEH! D= You also don't want to completely break the game. That's bad for your business. What would be your next move to fleece your consumers for MOAR MONEH? D= My idea: An NX item costing 3900nx that acts like a Safety Charm, but instead of protecting you from dying it protects an item from blowing up. Ten charms for 35k NX. Muahahaha! You can't convince me that these wouldn't sell like hotcakes despite them being 4 bucks a piece...

Someone proposed NX to randomly steal another player's item. I said if that happens, people would be filling up item slots with snail shells. This would lessen the probability of them getting anything good. As for $4 of nx for a single save of an item, sure there'd be an effect on the economy. But closing down? No way. It would be way, way too expensive for most people to do regularly. Some of the biggest merchants would spend thousands upon thousands of dollars, no doubt. I'm not saying it's a great idea as far as gemeplay goes. Not saying I want it implemented. I am saying it would net a humongous profit for Nexon without affecting the game any more adversely than xp coupons already have. People were wailing "THE END IS NEAR! D=" on that one too.
