Q. about Dexless, Low, & Normal

Aren't Dexless, Low Dex, and Normal Dex Hermits all the same? If your Dexless you get all luck items but not so strong claw (Excluding 60+ Attack Claws) Edit: Only people who can make those probably have mains. I'm talking about first characters etc. :D If your Low Dex then your gonna need to use all Dex Equips and barely luck equips which is pretty much the same thing plus nice attack claws? If your Normal Dex then your gonna be wearing Luk Equips which is the same as low dex and you get nice attack claws. I'm just confused because I care about what people say and it messed me up and made me think about my 120 Base dex Level 80 Hermit with + 23 Luk Robe, 3/10 Luk Pac, Fs, 2 Luk 10 Att Pwg, 11 Luk Earrings with 58 Attack Mamba... O.o Good bad? Or Whatever?

Your absolutely right except for two things. Dexless would have a huge advantage in Luk until level 100 or so when WATK matters more. Low-Dex Dex Items are much much much cheaper than Luk Items so its better to go Low Dex. As for your case, your probably comparable to a Low - Dex Sin, but your items are much more expensive than the Dex Version, aka you could have gotten more bang for your buck by going Low Dex. You have 46 in Luk + 15 Zhelm? + 5 Dep Star = 66 Luk, comparable to a low dex sleeve/craven user.

Low Dex are generally stronger than Normal because Dex equips are significantly cheaper and easier to obtain than luck ones (there are also some Dex'able items that can't get Luk [ie: Face items]). Plus there are duo-stat items that Low Dex benefit more off of (ie: Z-Helms). xD Dexless is usually the most bang for your buck since their advantage comes from their higher base Luk, which costs 0, but Low Dex/Normal have W. Atk advantage, and + W. Atk gets pricey. xD Edit: But I personally think each build has its own benefits and challenges that help even out the 3 builds despite the damage difference. xD

Excluding dexless, the difference between normal and low dex is essentially all those items that can't be scrolled for LUK. If you were normal dex and wore a Zakum Helm, you'd have at least 15 DEX more than you need (not including the ability to scroll it further with DEX). In addition, if you scrolled your FS with DEX, you might have another 5 DEX over the required minimum. And if you scrolled a top/pants combo, you could have 15 DEX pants with a 20 LUK top for about the same money as your sauna robe. Excluding any scrolling on the ZHelm, you would have 35 DEX more than you need to wear your claw. So instead, you cap your DEX at 85 instead and benefit from the extra 35 LUK. Not counting that DEX gear is usually cheaper than LUK scrolled equips.

I always figured dexless thieves and warriors chose to have less dex because it's easier to make up for with scrolled sex equips than luk/str ones. For example. A warrior has less dex than avg and the points you should have had on dex go into str, then you get dex equips to maintain an avg dex, thus giving you extra str. Basically, dex scrolls have been around for a long time for every equip, str and luk have not and they're more expensive.

Of course if you excluded 60+ att claws they would be the same. That's like saying "Dexless and Low dex warriors are the same if you take away their dex equips!" No.

all classes usually go low (put stat here) after a certain level. but in reality the damage is similar after 120+. true funded dexless who can afford claws 60+ will outdamage low and reg though. but it takes ALOT of funding for such a claw.so in reality they are similar if it is your first character
