How long to get your maple shield?

Hey guys, I've been hunting at bubblings for 3 days now and i haven't gotten a shield. I feel like giving up but i figured i would ask how long it took you to get yours... Also did you get it at bubblings or somewhere else? PS. I read on the item info on here they are dropped by Chromos is that true or is that from last year? Thanks, ~Nick

I got 1 around every 30mins to an hour at cube slimes with 2x drop(Found 1 60% claw in that time period each time as well). :D

I found 5 in 3 hours. I just get strange urges to look for one, and in varied amounts of time, I find one. All the time adds up to around 3 hours though.

where are cube slimes exactly? are they as busy as bubblings? Seems like i'm ether getting ksed or no one else in my ch...
