Well it obviously isn't your mouse if you are posing on basil. It is a shortcut issue probably.

IT COULD BE BROKEN. There's a thing called mouse keys, you can use your number pad to operate your mouse. You just don't know how to find it.

Your mouse isn't broken. Ctrl+alt+del and open task manager. Click on processes and find maplestory and end it. Then try opening it again. Repeat until it works. And at william, it is not mouse keys. If you think it is hold down num lock for like 8 seconds or until it appears
