| I've seen many 4th job warriors use rush. When I ask, I would get various different levels, but they all look the same to me for some reason. So I have a question for you Heros / Pallys / Dark Nights. Howmuch more effective is Max rush compaired to level 1 rush? As hero draws nearer for me I need to know this to decide my build. Thanks! Edit: I also forgot to ask how often will I be using Rush, and also if I would benefit at all from maxing it before Advaced Combo Attack? (I already looked at the guides...I just want to get more than one opinion) |

| Rush is a good skill, but none of the warriors at all should have it as a priority. Heroes should have AC, brandish and Stance maxed before they consider it. ACB, Holy, Blast, and Stance for a paladin to consider it. Beserk, achilles, and whatever else drks use early, then they should consider it. The training boost from getting rush maxed early would largely be lost by the time it's finished. Particularly for paladins, the same time is better spent getting blast and stance finished, to at least grant the ability to do more than grind. (even if that is all there really is to do in the game >_>) |

| Rush is a very useful skill, and a near necessity to have, once you actually complete the quest or buy the skill from some poor soul who might want it back later, when they realize that their luck sucks and they can't complete the quest for it. Once you have one point on it, you can choose not to max it, but you might realize that you're going to want to max it because of the extra range that it gives. Rush will help you to mob very easily. Use it to shove a bunch of monsters to the edge of the platform and brandish them to death. There is a difference between rush level 1 and rush level 28 (well, 30, but.. meh, you'll find out) and that is higher damage and farther range. The damage isn't all that great at all, but what you really want is the range. Sure you won't max it early on, but even at level 1, you're going to praise it like a gift from your lucky stars. If you don't believe me, at least try a little experiment for me. Train with rush for one hour. Mob the monsters from left to right, right to left, then brandish or slash blast them to death. Once you've done that, remove the rush button from your keyboard, but train for a second hour without pressing it. Tell me how many times you "accidentally" pressed the button without the skill activating. I assure you that even with just one mere hour of using it, you will get hooked. |

I suggest you stop." Who said anything about early.................... -_- I said in general max rush is a great skill and is needed for warriors, nobody said get it first..... I don't need a little low level nub cake like you telling me what i need to know.... |

The attacks associated with ST/transform/battleship also can only be used under the condition that you're in those states. (Cannon, torped0, demolition, shockwave, snatch) That's a very large chunk of the corsair/buccaneer skill set, sir. I mean hell i could go even further to argue that panic and coma can only be used under the condition that you have some amount of orbs. Additionally, all skills with cooldown have the same condition as ST/transform/battleship. (Sanctuary, infinity, holy shield, snipe, smoke shell, time leap, concentrate, etc) Let's see now...that's 17 skills so far that are not situational at all. None of those skills operate under any sort of situation, you can use any of them as long as the conditions are met." He means situational as in, there are certain situations where one skill would be a better choice than another. For example, I train at red wyverns which range from mobs of 1 to mobs of 6. I constantly have to decide whether I use PS, SB or CB (CB since I have FA). I concluded that I use PS for 1-2 mobs, SB for 3-4 mobs, and CB for 5+ mobs. However, this isn't definite. The 'situational' skills will mean that since I ice, I will need to SB sometimes in a mob of 2 to keep both iced and me undamaged. I'll use CB if I'm in a big mob and my charge is about to run out. So, all skills are situational because there will always be a time when it will be possible to decide between two skills. |

| Rush is only for mobbing at level one, and should be level one when you hit 4th job. I dunno about maxing it out, but this is what i plan on doing 1 Rush > 1 Blast > 10 ACB > 30 Heaven's Hammer... |

Holy charge is going to be far more useful early on than Heaven's Hammer according to most Paladins. Also, there's no point putting the point into Blast. If it's for the looks, I understand. |

| I still disagree on everyone saying 1 rush 10 acb then max HH lol. I think holy charge would fit in much better after acb and before HH. |

Berserking is easy enough as it is, so I'm going 1 rush, 10 beholder, 30 Berserk, 30 Stance, 20 MW, 25 Aura, 30 Rush. Still a ways off though. Almost at maxed Aura now, Grrr. |

| I'm stopping at 20 stance. 10% extra chance of activation isn't worth 10 sp's in my opinion :S 20 stance, then 19 MW. Eventually, I could get the last 10 points in stance later, at 16x's or so. |

| I found the 10 points helpful. It seems as if I still get KB'd a lot though, especially in zak. T.T It's rigged to always work when I train and never when I boss o:< |
