Yes. Brandish is a forced slash and a stab, making an axe hero's damage unstable. It will be a large hit followed by a smaller hit. That is why I quit my Axe Fighter to make a Sword Fighter.

I don't know much about this, but I believe you drop some Shout and the remaining useless points that go into Relax. |

screw it ill be pure axe, i dont even care about the unbalance dmg from axe in the first place, dont need to care about brandish... oh i did some testing...axe isnt THAT imbalance... i compared my axe to my sword fighter, both were as it said on the mastery, 60% of max damage, sword had a lil bit more min dmg but not by that much, and axe had more max dmg.. so basicly same thing

Lol Hi Neng. You may have compared your sword and axe FIGHTERS, but you're forgetting that Crusader's and Hero's damage becomes unstable due to the rotation of their orbs.

lol^ if i were you.. i'd continue w/ axe.. it at all, i'd skip shout and mp relax, armor crash.. to get sword coma, 11 swrd booster and 20 mastery (at the end of 3rd job)

Who cares about damage? Go with whatever you like best. Axes are cheaper anyways so some of the damage difference can be made up by a higher attack axe.

i think they should have made brandish 2 slashes that would have change the economy and everything (sword users/axe) but yea its sad to say u lose about 7-13% of dpm if you guys have the same weapon speed/atk weapon but if it take the same amount of hit to kill the monster as if you where using a sword then it wont matter and it has a bit higher ks then sword brandish, but i say just go hybrid u have 31 extera sp in third mind as well pump in sword mastery/booster so u can go both to see do it while u can
