Last time I heard, Luk = Mages' acc, so maybe get a cheap zakhelm xD or if you havent done that yet Max Bless.

its int not luk that adds accuracy for a mage
iheartvodka May 25 2009 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
i have max bless but it doesn't help. and im lukless
ezirb6 05/25/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
bless doesn't help acc equips don't help I think luk affects it, but int does more I'm lukless, and had 4luk, and no luk equips until i got my zhelm...

If I remember right, the greater the level difference, the more LUK affects your acc, whereas with lower level differences, it's INT that makes the deciding factor. Which is probably why you're having problems as a LUKless, since the level difference between you and Himes is pretty big. Not much you can do here except train somewhere else til you're higher level. Unless you want to spend a ton of mesos on a LUK overall, which may or may not help much.

EmpireSunThis is the magic accuracy formula Let x = (trunc(INT/10) + trunc(LUK/10))/(Avoid+1)*(1+0.0415*D), where D is the level difference between the player and the monster. Then hitrate% = -2.5795x^2 + 5.2343x - 1.6749 link

Soo much work is: Figuring out the formula itself.......

omg, all this ppl. that say int gives more macc than luk (or the other way round) realy want to kill gandalf, don't they? =o
BabyWalk 05/25/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
my impression is INT and level. anyway, you cannot do much on magic accurary, simple choose another training spot and try again few levels later.
