Huge request for help

| Hi Basil. Recently I have been staggering over my level 5x assassin, and my dexless fighter. I know these days it's hard to become some of the highest damage dealers without having customized stats such as a dexless assassin, or a dexless fighter. However, I have chosen a dexless fighter due to the lack of them out there in my server. However, I'm having trouble finding gear for my fighter due to the fact the fact that it's a female character. I was thinking of going back to my assassin or starting a dexless assassin, or a bandit. As I've been browsing FM, I've noticed there are alot more assassin and bandit items than any other, and to find items for a dexless female fighter seems impossible. I've been at this for a month now and I still have had no luck finding anything. I would scroll my own items but I'm afraid I'd lose my only fund. My friend is quitting soon and giving me around 500mil and I want to start a character that will have the maximum potential at it's peak levels so I don't regret taking time to level my character up. So my plea for request consists of this question, Basil. Whats best to do at this point? And is a dexless bandit any good? What is the most useful class at level 140+? Thanks in advanced Basil, I truly appreciate it. |

| Neither of the DEXless thief classes will be that good 110+, you're better off going Low-DEX (the main issue being, that DEXless thieves, whether sins or dits, lose their advantage at higher levels due to being locked with weaker weapons). As for useful, that's up to your personal preference. Would you rather play a close range melee class or a ranged class? |

Personally, I would make a low-dex sin if I wanted power, but for fun and decent power, I would go low-dex bandit. |

Maxed Assassinate, when spammed, has about equal DPM to TT + SP. Both classes have their pros and cons, anyone who tells you that one overpowers the other is just being biased. |

It's just that it requires HT Pendant + 3 eggs, of which only 1 exists atm. Low-DEX in general is the best thing for any thief class. How low you cap your DEX will depend on what you can afford, although keep in mind that you don't have to cap your DEX super low -- raising base DEX and getting LUK equips is the same as having lower DEX and DEX equips -- your total stats come out to the same thing in the end. Max efficiency just means having your DEX low enough so that the bonuses from certain equips (zHelm for example) aren't wasted. For stuff like capes where you can scroll for either DEX or LUK, it makes no difference if you have higher base with a LUK cape or lower base with a DEX cape. |

| Well, with 500M, that's pretty solid funding. With currently available items, I'd consider the following for endgame and work backwards from there: Helm: zHelm - 15 STR, 15 DEX, 15 LUK Pendant: Mark of Naricain - 5 STR, 5 DEX, 5 LUK, 10 W.ATT (makes it stronger than a 1 egg Horntail Pendant, which is all that exists right now) Dagger: Blood Dagger or Gold Double Knife, depending on whether you go STR dit or not Shield: MS Shield or Dragon Khanjar With this in mind, you'll need a total of 140 DEX or 150 if you go STR dit and get a DKhan. You get 20 STR/DEX already from the listed equips above. Add a 20 DEX overall, 10 DEX shoes, 10 DEX Earrings, and 10 DEX cape, and you can cap your DEX at 70 and still use a Blood Dagger. |
