Haste since people in lmpq will whine for haste. I already feel bad for the 3 thieves I've partied with.

Haste, mobility is a big factor in almost everything. Steal will barely serve a purpose. You should even get haste before you max booster.

Though I don't know many people who still LMPQ, Haste is infinitely better to master before Steal. Max haste will let you train better. Coupled with Booster, it will allow you to attack and move to the next monster much faster. Steal only has a % chance of working and even if it does work it would have been more efficient to just kill the monster in the first place.

Steal- its like using a regular attack except a shadow comes out and hits the monster, upon a certain success rate, an item, mesos, or equip will drop. once something drops from that monster you cant use steal on it no more.
