Well I have maxed out Magic Guard and Im training at hoodoos and I am lukless with bad equips and bad def. I don't use mg since it waste more pots and I have maxed mp eater so this uses less pots and I use heal so I could never die :D. Is this a good idea? And only one monster could damage u at a time. Edit; and if I use marco with 3 heals I waste mp so fast but training is so much faster and ideas on that?

Yes, they should take around three hits to kill you, which is plenty of time to heal yourself.

of course... ur a clerc and all with maxed mp eater 0_0 my priest, from lvls 60~80, has not used a SINGLE mp pot :D

Yea. MG is for when you got bosses or higher leveled areas where monsters deal 4k+ damage which would mean pretty much instant death for most classes.

its ur choice but if u die </3 but use ur mg when u fighting monters that can 2 hit u

Of course. Max MP eater= no need for MP at undeads. You shouldn't have to use a single mp pot from 60~80 if you trained within your lvl range.

ok the marco question I am using a marco with 3 heals it burns pot like crazy but it trains faster what did u guys do?

Magic guard is one of those skills that shows its true colors at high levels and at bosses, if you've got some points into MP recovery, you will not use a single potion from lvl's 70-90 at least . Also, taking advantage of HP gear (i.e. things like 'mage shields' that are too expensive, buy a well scrolled HP shield instead) will help a lot during those levels. Priests get cheap before they get expensive.
