GMS is going downhill. The events are getting harder and harder to obtain the items, and the game isn't as fun as it was a a year to two years ago. I dunno, all I'm saying is, they need to make the events more... Fun I guess. They should raise the drop rate on just about everything, so the game players focus more on fun than on money, it's rather irritating for those of us who focus on fun instead of mesos.

I think the event is just fine. They lowered our exp needed to level, and gave us some major free 2x events. With the maple tree thing, I've gotten many of items. They held a GM event, which was new. This years anniversary is by far better then the previous.

i think maplestory is still good, but i have avoided this last anniversary for this exact reason. it is just not fun to search for hours on end for a stupid weapon. they should have made it easier to get the weapons. or at least all of them besides maple shields.

I loved the first anniversary. The drop rate was really high for maple weapons. There were only like.. 2 Maple Shields in Bera from the first anniversary though. Second anniversary was fine. I wasn't around for third. Fourth is terrible compared to First/Second.

I played in KMS for a while, and I used a Korean translator (Probably not good.) but they were like "oh, it's fine. We don't care." and they were all really nice.. I don't get why the GMS people are like, the polar opposite to this.

Yea, NX is one of the main things. NX makes almost everything easier to obtain.

Pretty much what I was going to say ^ What do you expect Nexon to do for the people that want to have 'fun'? Most of the fun things in maple are free (ex. hanging out with friends)
