There, i said it. Starting on February 3rd to this day I have played maplestory so much, it is like a drug. I would wake up in the morning, turn on the computer, and go play maplestory. From time to time i thought to myself "Eh, just a few more hours wont kill me." Then i hit the point of no return. I would tell myself "I'm bored of this game" and "I really shouldnt be sitting here this long" (10+ hours a day sometimes) I tried and tried to stop, but it isn't that easy. You could sit there and tell me "Dude, its just a game, you can quit if you really want to." Sry, that isn't how it works. That would be like trying to stop smoking after 5 years of doing it, its VERY HARD. Sometimes i feel the only people that ever understood how i felt were other people addicted to a game. I began to stay up till 4 am I began to stop going outside as much I lied to friends because i would rather play this game than hang Even when my vision began to go due to excessive computer use, i still played Online game addiction is quickly becoming a new chapter in the book of psychological disorders. People have died, committed suicide, stopped going to school, lost jobs, friends, wifes. I used to be addicted to maplestory, but now i only play maybe 2 times a week. I admit, it was hard to stop. It took me weeks just to slow down the pace and stop for one day. I began going through withdrawal and believe it or not, there are withdrawal symptoms to everything you do for a long time and then suddenly stop. I felt bored, tired, depressed, i got colds, uneasy in my sleep. It was hard. I want you guys to know, when you see someone who is addicted to an online game dont point and laugh. We want to stop very bad, but we cant. It's hard.

lol maplestory isnt much of an addiction in some terms its just a hobby i guess. its like guys that collect cards or work on cars and do it alot cuz its their hobby. meh it depends if u are weak minded. i play ms alot cuz well lol not much to do if u aint got much money. XD but its fine summers coming then college and well ill have new things besides maple. but it is easy, just depends on the person.

Yea, it depends on the person, but not everyone is as "strong minded" or driven as everyone else.

Lol I think I'm gonna quit because Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne is making me quit lulz I've been switching between em for 5 months now I decided I should stick to one game besides it's Footmen frenzy season and tree tag season :D
