Time Temple / Inferno?

Hi I'm so frustrated since i can't make up my mind up about If Inferno's gonna be worth the 30 SP when Time Temple comes out. I read all threads that have anything with Infernal / Time Temple in it and i still can't make my mind. Please someone HELP me :[

Said monsters are weak to fire, but the monsters in the ice room are less good (EXP:HP wise) than their counterparts so there's actually no advantage to kill them. At least, it was said elsewhere. I'd suggest checking the maple wiki for more information about the time temple.

I remember seeing in another thread that Hurricane, on mobs of =<4, is better than Inferno, even if they're fire weak. Someone did the math on it.

So far no videos even show bowmasters using inferno at time temple. Its just easier to use hurricane and the stun that accompanies arrow bomb makes it also a more efficient skill. Inferno is good on puppetted mobs that aren't advancing on you but the time it takes to setup negates the extra damage done. In short inferno will truly never be effective unless it received a huge damage boost and not just a few % simply cause its too hard to mob when it takes a lot of hits to down the monsters moving in on you with magic attack.

No monster in time temple is weak to fire. blue ones are weak to poison which is kinda annoying but atleast red ones are weak to ice and give more exp. Bowmasters aren't going to train there well anyway because mobs are too big for them to handle compared to MM/paladin/mages heros & other mobbing classes simply because they don't have mob attack.

I'll check it now again *will edit soon* *edit* Normal bow+booster= 84 shots/minute Inferno damage on fire weak monster= 150%x1.25=187.5% Inferno dpm on 1 single fire weak monster= 187.5%x84=10,125% on 3 fire weak: 30,375% dps: 506.25% on 4 fire weak: 40,500% dps: 675% on 5 fire weak: 50,625% dps: 843.75% on 6 fire weak: 60,750% dps: 1,012.5% Hurricane speed: 500 shots/minute (8.33/sec) Hurricane damage on any monster: 100% (max hurricane) Hurricane dpm on 1 monster: 100%x500=50,000% dps: 833.33% Conclusion: Hurricane is better than inferno on 1-4 fire weak monsters mobs, almost equal on a mob of 5 fire weak monsters and worse than inferno on a mob of 6. *I didn't count SE since it has the same damage increase on both attacks.

There have been other posts about this. I believe lcedFire said that the Time Temple monsters are poison weak monsters, not fire weak. Here's the other thread abaout Inferno and Arrow Bomb. His post is in there... link I hope this helps you make up your mind.

I think after reading what mashavsapir wrote that i'ts gonna be better to just use hurricane, since a mob of 6 would take time to mob / find. Im thinking of just keeping Inferno at 1.
