| Enter: The Dragon Knight of Dragon-ness I, destinytwig2, have reached Dragon Knight. :D Now, prepare for a boring Wall of Text. When I first found Maple. One Halloween... it was a spooooooky Halloween... MUAHAHAHAH. No, not really, but anyway, I went to my friend Tyler's house to trick-or-treat, since he lives in a rich neighborhood. ^ ^ After getting back, we played an interesting game called "MapleStory." He let me try, and I was addicted... for the rest of the night. After that day, I never heard about it again. My Neighbor Plays? After about a year, I found out that my neighbor, Joe, plays MapleStory. I tried the game again, and this time, understood it more. After that, I played at his house every week or so. It was fun. I only got to level 11 before there was another patch, and his PC sucks at patching. So, I couldn't play again. Turned out, several of my classmates also played. After repeatedly questioning my friends, about whether it was really free, I downloaded it. The first 10 levels Now, before going further into this, you'll notice my IGN has a "2" in it. Well, that's because this isn't my first character. I created my second character (made the first at my neighbor's), destinytwig. Not understanding how stats should be, I aimed for the highest strength from the dice roll. >_> Back then, Maple Island was actually somewhat of a challenge. It took me a few days to get to level 9, when I left for *angels singing* Victoria Island. Then, I set off for Perion and made my advance. Knowing no better, my neighbor advised me to start maxing power strike... "HPQ" I said: "where does yellow go?" Ah, HPQ. That's where I met two of the people who made my Maple Career very enjoyable... Tyeishe and Hikari00777. At the time, none of us knew what a "track" or "luring" was. We just enjoyed Party Quest the way it was intended to be played. There was only about a 50% chance of success, event into our 20s. Even then, HPQ was my main source of Exp. We once tried Kerning Party Quest, and failed miserably. HPQ was quite fun. The only other thing we did, was go to the Ant Tunnel Dungeon and train, and often we had parties of 6. We didn't pay much attention the exp gain, because we were having fun, and that's all that mattered. LOLWHAT? Third Job! Haha... if you thought I was talking about me. I wasn't able to play for another few months because of school, so I was stuck at 26. When I went on again, Kari (hikari00777), was already level 51... Then, the next time I logged on (it wasn't too long after), BOOM 70, and Ranger, while I was at... 26... still. Oh well. Job Advance! Finally, after another few months, level 30! I was going to make my advance! By this time, Tye had quit, but Kari was still playing, moderately. Her other friend (who's name I still don't know), LionCourt, was making the advance on the same day as I. The advance wasn't too hard, but because we kept chatting with him, LionCourt died and had to restart. xD As usual, there was the dilemma of w |
