When Should I Cut My Luk?

When should i stop raising my luk? I'm planning to get an arc staff at level 45 I already have level 50 mage boots (That doesn't mean i want to equip them) If the chances of finding a white calas is high then i'll cut it at 45-50 Im very confused now remember that if you dont think my arc staff will last then i can get a maple wisdom responses please

As soon as possible. Like right now. This is until the end game weapons come out, then you can add luk again.

I say 80, for it shouldn't be too hard to get an extra 30 luk by the time you need it, so you can use a level 110 weapon. If you can get more luk, cut it lower. But I think you should cut it to where you can get 110 luk. You don't want to have that high of luk and be using a maple wisdom for the rest of maplestory.

It really depends on what items you want to wear.. Also on your amount of 'funding'. But really if you like the armours and weapons at latter levels go ahead and add luk. Try to get as many luk adding equips as you can though, you dont wanna be all high luk and have to reset later, that sucks. I hope this is somewhat helpfull.

Probably now, if you want to wear cool equips I suggest 60 luk. 60 base luk + 5luk from your necklace + 15 from your Z Helm = 80 luk, 80 luk means you can wear equips up to level 80~ and wear a Blade/Doomsday Staff (level 102)! Capping luk now is probably better though.

You will probably benefit from the extra AP in int more than the m.atk boost you will get from an arc staff. Intstead of the arc staff, get a llama, or if you can't afford that, do the NLC quests for the nocturnal staff. Stop adding luk until better equips for luk mages come out.

My base luk has always been +3 above my level and im level 105 now, should i just stop?

My base luk is 108 and overall luk is 134 so... :X and i have a zhelm

I originally capped mine at 64 , but I had to add 4 due to not getting a Dept Star in time. I then managed to reset it back to 66 .. but I wish I capped it during the 50s , like most of my friends did.

I have enough luk to be able to wield a lvl 163 ele staff if I got my ht pendant + egg. I'm a little more obsessed with my corsair now, so any plans of doing that are on hold for quite a long time. I think I have 121 base luk. Not quite sure though. As to capping your luk. If you want more damage, stop putting points into luk. If you want certain equips, put points into luk until you can wield said equips.
