I'd say that attack shields make bandits/chief bandits/shadowers really expensive. A lot of people assume it's meso explosion(only true if you rely on it) or Meso Guard(which is untrue since it saves you money on potions). Edit: Also, we attack close to the monster so we get hit a lot, which makes us use more potions. This problem is solved when you become a shadower since your avoid goes up(from what I've heard).

You go Christy! A shining example of someone who levels decently, doesn't spend a ton on anything (especially lazy leeching) and still gets by as an awesome CB. The expenses of a CB differ. Some CBs fund themselves with barely enough to cover their pot costs per day. Some CBs train on apples for hours and hours to gain quicker levels for less effort...without leeching. I ME'd from late 7x to early 9x. With only lvl 3 ME it cost me quite a bit. Especially if you consider I bombed headless horsemen as my main training method. I was going through 15+m a day in pots and exploding. It hurt. Not to mention I never train without 2x exp. Therefore, I buy at least 10 bucks of 2x-4 hour cards a week. It cost me an easy 800+m to get from 70 - 120. Some people view that as a waste. It was beyond fun though. Unique experiences not every CB gets. x] On the other end of the spectrum, I know CB's who spend 15m a week. It all depends on how you use your mesos. Manage your assets and funds in a rational manner and you should be fine.

If I wasn't back to my original addiction and the better game (Priston Tale FTW :D), I might have joined in on the hype and leveled to shadower. Or at least 1xx.

Meh. The Bandit nor the CB was expensive to me. With the new BoT we can train at Nightshadows and not get hit. It doesn't work at Typhons, but there I mame money too.

Agree with this poster (BTW Pav Gratz on 100 nice dagger and overall! ;p) but seriously the rule with any character is the "PLayer behind the screen" is what makes the character expensive. Depending on your game goals etc, that preety much sums it up. If you want to be the cream of the crop its gonna be "Hugh Expensive" if your playin for fun and dont care about that stuff play and the character will fund it self! |

Bandits have a balanced HP & MP, we go thru both during training, so we need alot of pots. If a bandit wants to put up good numbers they need good equips. High attack daggers and shield are rare and pricey. If big numbers are not that imporatant to you, Bandits are not ant more expensive they other classes. Once a bandit grows to shadower they become cheap with shadow shift, high avoid, smoke screen, and meso guard.

My Shadower was expensive to me from the get go. Since it was my very first character, i had absolutely no funds at all and i kept burning pots like mad. Since bandits are close ranged fighters, they tend to get hit A LOT and the HP is crap for a melee character. So i would say until MG, spending money on pots is a major meso burner. Equipment and stuff are just about the same as a sin except for the attack shields.

I started unfunded and ended up just fine..The logic behind us being expensive is because of the att shield(not anymore) and because some people think that most of us use ME a lot( i almost never use it).

Ilbis are 10M per piece now and Furies 30. I have only one item worth more than 30M and that's my 10 ATT glove. |

I think it's because, sins char 80% of dits equipment >.> our wep are cheaper then sins, but we get an extra shield, making us more expensive, but ofc, you can get by w/o a good shield
