Banned for "inappropiate" name.

Recently I made a warrior named FistFak. The account it was on blocked for just under a month for "misconduct", more specifically because the name was inappropriate. They are going to give me a name change which I have no say in during this time. However, I have two questions. Why do they need to ban me for a month when there's a server check like once a week where a name change can take place? And, this same sort of thing happened to a friend of mine a while ago, but he wasn't banned AT ALL, so why am I being banned for a month when all he got was his name changed to something stupid? Thoughts? "u cawnt go a hole munth wit owt ms? lolololololol" I still have my Bishop, I just think this is unfair. Edit: In all fairness, it really was supposed to be a disguised F-word, but I was hoping it would be far enough away from the word that no one would care.

Im tired of people complaining about ban for bad name/bad name changes, you made the name, you knew it was agaisnt the rules, you deserve everything you get. Why would you make the name inapropiate in the first place?

I think you're just unlucky to be suspended during this time. I too know of people who had inappropriate names but they weren't suspended while the name change took place. My theory is that since Nexon has more than one GM, it depends on which GM catches or goes through the report. Maybe there are more lenient GMs who don't feel the need to suspend.

Well Fistfak doesn't sound inappropiate. It's sounds like fist fake to me. Nexon is thinking wrong, not you.

There are people whos names contain words that are now censored, but they are still on ranks, and still have their inappropriate names. I had Raypmehnao on that game clubpenguin and then used it on maple and got perma-banned after about a month... luckily it was on a diff acct

Think before you act. You should have realized that inappropriate names and comments are not allowed. You AGREED to the ToS when you signed up for this game. You were asking for it.

I heard of at least one player logging a ticket about a situation exactly similar to this one. Nexon gave them 5 IGN choices for their character, and they would replace the bad IGN with one of the 5 names that Nexon approves of. Try it? Might work...

If you know how to pronounce letters, it should sound like FAQ not said as an acronym. I can think of like 10 things Fak could be that aren't inappropriate. 1. Sounds like FAQ 2. Alternate spelling of Fake 3. A random word to complete the alliteration of his name 4. A name 5. The acronym for First Aid Kit 6. A language in Cameroon 7. The band FAK 8. A short name for FARK 9. A protein 10. An adhesive. Finding those took 2 minutes and one google search. I looked through 2 pages.
