Threatened over FM Spot.

Today, I was waiting patiently for a spot that a guy was selling in FM 5. I didn't have any intention of buying it whatsoever. To add on to this, I do not AC and nor do I approve in illegal programs for detrimental use to MapleStory. Well as I stand under the spot waiting patiently, another user comes to the same spot and buys it I believe. I, who was waiting patiently, used my cat like reflexes to secure the spot and that I did. The other user who supposedly "bought" it was mad at me and threatened to hack my account. It was his fault for not taking me into consideration that I was UNDER the spot waiting for it. (No I do not do this often. I just wanted to sell a few items). ***LINK FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT*** link *Edit* The guy later says he obviously doesn't know how to hack (I knew he was full of crap from the beginning). But I told him to say hi to basil anyway.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I believe that there's still several logical responses supporting me. Getting people to hate me after only talking on the internet is pretty dumb HAHA. One must be pathetic and shallow to hate someone over a stupid debate on an online forum. No one here knows me by physically knowing me, hanging out/talking with me. Looks like the basil community has a lot of shallow people. Hence is why most of the posts are ignorant. And the few posts that arn't are the ones that actually supply some good reasoning. Was I ethical? No. Did I do the right thing? That cannot be answered since no one is entitled to a spot. Should I have given it back? If he was nice about it and didn't make such a threat, yes.

No matter what, in the end, there was NO gurantee the guy was going to secure the spot so it is his falt, not the TS's. If I were him I would've looked for another spot or waited tilll the area was clear. Oh and did I mention that if you wanted to be really technical, what the buyer and seller are breaking the rules of the ToS?

By the what you said earlier, it seemed you would have kept the spot no matter if he asked nicely or not. You knew it was unethical to take the spot, so why did you stand under it in the first place?
